Validated

Practice auditE-commerce SEOKorean Shop BD

Full E-commerce SEO & UX Audit

A business-first audit of the homepage-to-product journey for an online Korean skincare store, combining manual review, HTML evidence, PageSpeed data and conversion-focused recommendations.

Key findings

  • Generic homepage title
  • Product title not marked as H1
  • Price incorrectly used as H2
  • Informative product image had empty ALT
  • Provided sitemap link returned 404

Recommendations

  • Intent-aligned title and meta copy
  • One semantic product H1
  • Descriptive product ALT text
  • Skin type, concern and budget filters
  • Visible ratings, reviews and trust cues
Deliverable: prioritized findings, evidence screenshots, implementation guidance and a 90-day action sequence. This is a portfolio practice audit—not presented as paid client work.
Practice auditOn-page SEOAccessibility

Product Page Semantics & Image SEO

A focused DOM inspection that translated raw HTML findings into clear SEO, accessibility and developer actions.

Evidence

  • Product name rendered inside a non-heading element
  • Zero H1 found on the page
  • Price used as a structural heading
  • Product zoom image used alt=""

Expected state

  • Product name as the single primary H1
  • Price in a styled p or span
  • H2/H3 reserved for real sections
  • Concise, product-specific ALT text
Developer acceptance criteria: the product template must render one H1, keep price outside the heading hierarchy, and provide meaningful ALT for informative images.

Indexing, Canonical & Sitemap Validation

Technical SEO verification for anjumananwar.site, moving beyond the green status message to document crawl, fetch, indexing and canonical signals.

Validated

  • URL was indexed and eligible on Google
  • Crawl allowed: Yes
  • Page fetch: Successful
  • Indexing allowed: Yes

Documented

  • User-declared canonical: None in the training snapshot
  • Google-selected canonical: Inspected URL
  • sitemap.xml submitted successfully
  • Performance baseline recorded for later comparison
Workflow: Inspect URL → review crawl/index details → compare canonical signals → submit sitemap → monitor status and indexed coverage.

Mobile Performance & Core Web Vitals Diagnosis

A performance review that separated field experience from lab diagnostics and connected slow interaction to JavaScript and main-thread workload.

32Mobile performance
2.2sFCP
2.5sLCP
551msINP

Additional evidence

  • CLS: 0.03 — good
  • Unused JavaScript: about 760 KiB
  • Main-thread work: about 8.2s
  • Accessibility 88; Best Practices 73 in recorded runs

Action direction

  • Reduce and split unnecessary JavaScript
  • Optimize images and loading priority
  • Improve cache and server delivery
  • Retest mobile PSI plus manual Add to Cart interaction
Accuracy note: FCP is an important performance metric, but the current Core Web Vitals set is LCP, CLS and INP. Lab diagnostics support diagnosis; they do not replace real-user field data.

CTA & Contact-Intent Tracking with GTM

A structured event-tracking setup for anjumananwar.site, built around business behavior rather than button color or vague event names.

Tracked actions

  • Start a Project CTA
  • WhatsApp click
  • Email and call clicks
  • LinkedIn and PDF clicks

Implementation logic

  • Enable click variables
  • Create exact link conditions
  • Configure behavior-based event names
  • Verify every tag in Preview / Tag Assistant
Measurement rule: an event was considered implemented only after configuration, Preview-mode firing, GA4 receipt and context validation.
Live own-site implementationLead trackingDebugging

Form Success → Confirmed Lead Event

A lead-tracking workflow designed around confirmed form success, not a button click—followed by layer-by-layer debugging when the event initially failed.

Problem isolated

  • Form success behavior existed
  • contact_form_success appeared
  • generate_lead initially did not fire
  • Tag availability also checked on the response page

Verification chain

  • Trigger condition corrected
  • generate_lead succeeded in Preview
  • Event appeared in GA4 Realtime
  • Business-important event separated from raw interaction
Debug formula: website action → data layer / DOM signal → trigger → tag → GA4 receipt. Fix the first broken layer, then retest the complete chain.
Own-site analysisGA4 reportingData QA

Acquisition, Landing Pages & Test-Traffic QA

GA4 analysis that moved from “how many” to source quality, landing-page behavior, device context and confidence level.

Reports analyzed

  • Traffic acquisition and source / medium
  • Landing Pages versus Pages & Screens
  • Organic traffic samples and date comparisons
  • Device and engagement context

Data-quality checks

  • Identified Tag Assistant referral traffic
  • Applied a session-source comparison
  • Compared raw versus test-excluded data
  • Avoided treating own test leads as client results
Analysis loop: Data → Meaning → Business impact → Next action. Small samples were treated as directional evidence, not proof of a stable trend.
Own-site analysisGA4 ExploreClient workflow

Custom Exploration & Client-Ready Insight

Custom GA4 exploration for link-level behavior, followed by a repeatable workflow for measurement planning, implementation QA, analysis and handoff.

Exploration design

  • Link URL, link text and event name dimensions
  • Event count as the primary metric
  • Free-form analysis for questions standard reports could not answer
  • Funnel steps checked before interpretation

Client delivery

  • Business question and event plan
  • Implementation and QA evidence
  • Meaning, impact and recommendation
  • Final retest and handoff notes
Reporting principle: tracking alone is not the outcome; the value is proving what happened, explaining why it matters and recommending the next decision.

  • BUBU Lifestyle men’s footwear title variants

Quality checks

Supporting capability

Reporting, handoff & retesting.

These are not decorative portfolio claims. They are the working standards used to turn findings into actions a client or developer can understand.

Audit evidence

Issue → Evidence

Each issue is anchored to the affected URL or element, current HTML, screenshot or verified tool result.

Communication

Impact → Recommendation

Impact is stated as a likely SEO, UX or conversion effect—never as a guaranteed ranking or revenue outcome.

Quality assurance

Owner → Retest

Every fix includes responsibility, acceptance criteria and a safe recheck path after deployment.

Evidence standard

What every case study must prove.

The portfolio follows the same client-ready sequence used throughout the training and publications.

01 · IssueWhat is wrong and where?
02 · EvidenceWhich screenshot, HTML or data proves it?
03 · ImpactWhy could it matter to users or the business?
04 · ActionWhat exactly should change?
05 · RetestHow will the corrected state be verified?
Current work in progress: performance optimization of anjumananwar.site has included LCP-element investigation and file-level adjustments in cover.php and styles.css. Because the score fluctuated during tuning and the final stable before/after retest is still pending, it is intentionally not presented here as a completed performance result.
